Each summer, members of the Committee of Professional Women (COPW) gather in San Luis Obispo to enjoy outstanding music at the Mozaic Festival, along with good company and time together exploring this beautiful Central Coast town.
This yearβs gathering will include a Friday evening chamber concert, a Saturday evening orchestra concert, with dinner beforehand at Buona Tavola Ristorante, and our traditional Sunday brunch at Novo Restaurant & Lounge overlooking the creek in downtown San Luis Obispo. During the festivalβs two weeks, many additional concerts, lectures, and free daytime events take place throughout San Luis Obispo, offering plenty of opportunities to explore more of the festival.
For those who wish to arrive earlier, optional events on Thursday include the popular Notable Insight lecture with Scott Yoo, as well as a special concert featuring Grammy Award-winning composer Eric Whitacre conducting his moving choral work The Sacred Veil, performed with singers including members of the Los Angeles Master Chorale.
This page will continue to serve as a resource for planning your trip, with helpful links and information about concerts, housing, dining, and festival activities. Registration is now open. Please
see the registration form for details and to reserve your space.

Accomodations
San Luis Obispo offers a variety of lodging options, including hotels, inns, and vacation rentals.
For those who enjoy staying together with the group, the La Cuesta Inn has offered COPW a special rate of $229 per night (regularly $279) if we reserve a block of eight rooms. The hotel also includes complimentary breakfast and free parking. If you think you may be interested in staying at the hotel, please reach out soon so we can determine whether we have enough interest to secure the discounted block.
Some members in past years have also chosen to stay in nearby vacation rentals or VRBO homes, particularly when traveling with friends or sharing accommodations. There are many attractive options available within a short drive of the Performing Arts Center and downtown San Luis Obispo.
If you would like suggestions for other accommodations that have worked well in the past, please feel free to reach out. Daphne Moote
